FEATURED DIOCESE OF JOLIET SEMINARIAN PROFILES
 

                        
Nathan Gohlke is studying in his fourth year of Theology at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein.  He is a parishioner of St. James the Apostle Parish in Irwin.  In between moving from Conception Seminary College to Mundelein, he spent this past summer in Mexico learning the Latino culture and Spanish language with the hopes of using these in future ministry to people in the Diocese.  Nathan has a great desire to serve the people in the Diocese of Joliet by helping  them to deepen the love of Christ in their lives.  He has strong hopes for the future of the priesthood  and is excited about the idea of pastoral ministry.  He also enjoys painting, bike-riding, racket ball and river rafting.  Lastly, Nathan is very thankful for the support he has received in various ways and keeps those in the Diocese of Joliet close to his heart.   Nathan will be ordained a priest for the Diocese of Joliet in June of 08.
